locally, there was an elder who was able to have affairs with three different women, including his wife for thirty years.
during that same time he had his hand in the contribution box to keep his business going.. we're talking thirty years here.. i agree with many posts here that the legal dept actually run the wtbts now and not the governing body.
and he was was an elder and one the top honchos at the time on the quick build committee for the district ,you know the type, lotsa relatives as JW's ,a big arrogant attitude about himself and had too much power over the affairs of the quick builds.

Mad at myself for not leaving earlier, when I knew very well, the religion was bogus early on. Why didn't I leave, I keep asking myself. I had no one in the family who was IN except one.
